Our Positions

The Positions of the BVK

The BVK is registered in the Bundestag’s association register and listed in the European Commission’s transparency register. We aim to keep our members continuously informed about our political work.

We bring our members’ concerns into the political process at both the federal and EU levels.

As an association, our task is to represent the material and non-material interests of our members externally, both toward the state and other interest groups. This is legitimized by Article 9, Paragraph 1 of the German Basic Law (“Fundamental right of freedom of association”).
