Markus Solibieda

Markus Solibieda has been Managing Director at BASF Venture Capital GmbH since November 2016.

Prior to this, he managed the Frankfurt office of Mandarin Capital Partners as Partner from 2013 and, before that, he co-founded Baigo Capital – a growth capital fund focused on healthcare. Markus Solibieda started his professional career on the venture capital team at Deutsche Beteiligungs AG before going on to work at Advent International and 3i in Frankfurt and London. Between 1999 and 2002, he was CFO at ACG, a listed provider of chip cards, RFID technology and semiconductor components. Markus Solibieda studied business management at the European Business School in Wiesbaden (D), as well as in Dijon (F) and Phoenix (USA).
