Wilken von Hodenberg | BVK

Wilken von Hodenberg is the spokesman of the Board of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVK). He is the mission leader of the BVK to Canada and the United States of America.

Von Hodenberg is a member of the supervisory board of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), a leading German private equity firm. From 2000 to 2013, he served DBAG as a member and spokesman of the Board of Management after a two-year tenure as a Managing Director at the Frankfurt office of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Bank. From 1993 to 1998, von Hodenberg served as Managing Director at Baring Brothers GmbH in Frankfurt. Prior to that, he was Deputy Managing Director in charge of finance of Tengelmann group, Mülheim/Ruhr. Wilken von Hodenberg began his career with the JP Morgan Bank in New York and Frankfurt. He studied law in Hamburg and Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nicholas Money-Kyrle | Steadfast Capital

Nicholas Money-Kyrle (51): Nick founded Steadfast Capital in 2001. He began his career in the German private equity business in 1994 and has held investment and management responsibilities with 3i Deutschland, GE Capital and BHF Bank. Prior to private equity, Nick worked for eight years for KPMG in Edinburgh and Düsseldorf. He possesses extensive deal experience primarily in direct LBO participations and also in fund-of-funds and secondary business. Nick is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland and holds degrees in Finance and Accounting from Leeds Metropolitan University and the Bremen Business College.

Manuel W. Hertweck | capiton AG

Manuel Hertweck is Managing Partner at capiton AG. Prior to joining capiton in 2006, he ran the German private equity activities of a publicly listed merchant banking group. In this role, Mr. Hertweck gained significant operational experience in managing midsize companies in different European markets. Prior to this, Mr. Hertweck spent several years in strategy consulting in London and Paris. He holds a B. A. cum laude from Hamilton College, USA.

Dr. Jörg Goschin | ALSTIN II

Jörg Goschin is Principal and Managing Director of ALSTIN, which he co-founded together with the German entrepreneur Carsten Maschmeyer in 2011. Jörg has more than 25 years of professional experience with leading private equity firms, investment banks, in management consulting and as a founder and entrepreneur. Prior to ALSTIN, Jörg was Partner and Managing Director at The Blackstone Group in London. From 2005 to 2009, he was Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management (Frankfurt/New York). Jeremy Golding | Golding Capital Partners

Jeremy Golding founded Golding Capital Partners in 2000 and has grown it into Germany’s leading independent alternative asset manager. Jeremy started his international career with KPMG and Ciba-Geigy in various European countries. After gaining his MBA from INSEAD, Jeremy spent 6 years with Boston Consulting Group in Munich. Rainer Effinger | NORD Holding

Rainer Effinger (45) joined NORD Holding in 2002. He has been responsible for the fund of funds activities since 2006. Prior to NORD Holding, he worked for a consulting firm, as well as Media Group. In these positions, he was responsible for growth, restructuring, and M&A projects in Germany and several Eastern European countries. Mr. Effinger holds a Master degree in economics from the University of Bonn.

NORD Holding (or “NH”) founded in 1969 is one of the oldest private equity firms in Germany and has over $1.5 billion AUM. NH makes fund investments, co-investments and direct investments. Ulrike Hinrichs | BVK

Ulrike Hinrichs is the Executive Member of the Board of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVK). She joined the BVK in May 2011. Before that Ulrike Hinrichs was Head of the Cabinet of the Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, Cornelia Pieper. Between 2005 and 2009 she controlled and supervised the press department and the internal and external communication of the former Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, Horst Seehofer. Hinrichs is a journalist by profession and has worked as such for the German TV channels ARD and ZDF.
