About the BVK
The Bundesverband Deutscher Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaften (German Private Equity and
Venture Capital Association, or BVK) represents the interests of the private equity industry in Germany.
It is comprised of private equity companies – ranging from venture capital via growth financing through
to sector buyout - as well as institutional investors that invest in private equity.
The BVK represents around 300 members, including 200 investment companies.
The aim of the BVK is to creating the best possible conditions for private equity and venture capital in Germany.
